Anchor installs in jambs and is connected via screws or nails to wood stud wall framing. This anchor is welded in place for use with any jamb depth.
Anchors are JD specific and only available in ½” increments from 5 ¾” to 8 ¾” JD. These anchors are for use with 2″ face hollow metal frames and can be used in fire rated openings for wood stud, steel stud, and existing masonry walls.
Bolts for existing wall anchor preps can vary in length and type. Most common are expansion bolts for existing masonry and lag screws for existing wood walls.
This “Z” shaped anchor is welded into the frame for use during construction of steel stud walls.
These anchors (also called “Yoke and Strap” anchors) are welded into the throat of the frame for use during construction of masonry walls.
