Adjustable JD Frame
The HMF Express Adjustable JD Frame is a knock-down (KD) hollow metal frame that adjusts to fit a wide range of jamb depths without custom ordering. Available in two sizes covering 5-1/2″ to 13-1/4″ jamb depth, the Adjustable JD Frame is ideal for renovation and retrofit applications where wall thickness varies or is not yet confirmed at the time of order.
- Adjusts to actual wall thickness — no custom depth ordering required
- Small size: covers 5-1/2″ to 8-3/4″ jamb depth
- Large size: covers 8-1/2″ to 13-1/4″ jamb depth
- 16-gauge A-60 galvannealed steel
- KD (knock-down) construction for easy field assembly
- Prepped for 4.5″ hinges and ASA strike
- Anchored through frame face with #7 countersink screws (by others)
