Frame Anchors

Anchoring systems that secure hollow metal frames to the wall structure at every point of contact — specified at the time of frame order and installed at the factory.

The correct anchor selection depends on your wall construction type and the frame application. HMF Express frames come with factory-installed anchors specified to NAAMM HMMA 830 standards. Review your wall construction type and consult your rep or the catalog for the appropriate anchor schedule.

Floor anchor frame

Provides positive stop at the bottom of the frame and anchors to the floor substrate — required for most applications.
Fixed strap anchor

Strap Anchor

Flat steel strap welded to the frame back and embedded in masonry or screwed to metal studs.
Wire loop anchor for masonry walls

Wire Anchor

Adjustable wire loop anchor for masonry walls — allows for precise frame positioning during block or brick laying.
Jamb anchor strap and yoke

Jamb Anchor

Clip-type anchor welded to the jamb back for attachment to metal stud or wood stud walls.
Base anchor frame

Base Anchor

Heavy-gauge base anchor plate for installations requiring additional stability at the frame base.
T-strap adjustable anchor

T-Strap Anchor

T-shaped strap anchor for masonry applications where strap anchors won't provide adequate pull-out resistance.
