Electric Power Transfer (EPT)
Electric power transfer (EPT) preps provide a conduit pathway through the frame hinge jamb for low-voltage wiring to electrified door hardware. The EPT allows electrical connections to pass from the frame to the door for electric locks, exit devices, and access control devices.
