Closer Prep
Closer preps are factory-installed reinforcement plates and cutouts in the frame head that support surface-mounted, concealed, and parallel-arm door closers. The reinforcement provides a solid mounting surface and the cutout accommodates the closer arm or body per manufacturer template.
