The backbend is the portion of the frame profile that wraps behind the wall face. Different wall types and installation conditions require different backbend configurations — full backbend for plaster or drywall, returned backbend for masonry, or no backbend for KD frames.
- Full backbend: standard for drywall and plaster walls
- Returned backbend: for masonry conditions
- No backbend: used with KD frames
- Custom profiles available
- Backbend depth to match wall finish depth
- Critical for proper wall reveal and fit
