Strap Anchor
Strap anchors are flat steel straps factory-welded to the back of the frame jamb, spaced per the NAAMM HMMA anchor schedule. For masonry construction, the straps are embedded in mortar joints as the wall is built. For stud walls, straps are screwed directly to the metal or wood stud.
