Wind & Storm Rated Doors
HMF Express wind and storm-rated hollow metal door and frame assemblies are tested and approved for use in high-wind zones under both the Florida Building Code (FBC) and the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) windstorm standards. Assemblies are available for single doors, pairs, and configurations with sidelites and transoms at design pressures up to 70 PSF.

Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) Windstorm Approval
HMF Express door and frame assemblies have also received Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) windstorm evaluation approval (2025). TDI approval applies to coastal construction in Texas windstorm zones. Contact your HMF Express representative for TDI documentation specific to your project.
