Seam Options

The door seam refers to the joint between the face sheet and edge treatment at the top and bottom of the door. Seamed doors show a visible metal seam; seamless doors have the seam filled and ground smooth for a cleaner painted finish.

  • Seamed (visible seam) and seamless/Bondo options
  • Seamless ideal for high-visibility or painted finishes
  • No structural performance difference between seam types
  • Seamed is standard specification for most commercial doors
