Primer Finish
All HMF Express hollow metal doors and frames receive one coat of baked-on grey primer, 1–2 mils thick, applied at the factory. This primer provides a uniform base coat for field-applied finish paint and protects the steel during transit and storage. The primer is compatible with most commercial topcoat systems.
