Cold Rolled Steel
Cold rolled steel (CRS) is the standard material for HMF Express hollow metal doors and frames. Available in 16 GA (standard), 14 GA, and 12 GA, cold rolled steel provides excellent formability, weldability, and a smooth surface for primer and paint. All CRS doors and frames receive one coat of baked-on grey primer, 1–2 mils thick.
